My clay art friend/partner in select projects, Lisa Lusardi and I won "People's Choice" for a dress we made together. The dress is titled: “Cha Who Lee” and is currently on display at ArtServe in the Holiday Members Showcase. This exhibit is free and open to the public. |

I was happy to be on hand to cheer-on Andrew Cagnetta at the Men of Style event at Galleria Mall, Fort Lauderdale. Being a previous Man of Style for ArtServe, I can appreciate the support from the audience. This charity event looks better each year. Congratulations to all involved. |

Unveiling of this 4 foot by 7 foot architectural ceramics wall mural occurred at the celebration of ArtServe's 20th Anniversary August 20, 2009 at the ArtServe building, 1350 E. Sunrise Boulevard, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where it is permanently installed in the lobby. This fired clay art represents music, film, theatre, literay arts, dance and the visual arts. It was constructed with open studio time, open to the public who could view the progressive construction of this form of art.
Funding for the 12 open studio sessions and accompanying 12 lectures was provided in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council.

A demonstration workshop showing the major techniques outlined in "The Build Process." Watch smaller pieces for a slab being sewen together to demonstrate how to make a very large slab. Watch the creation of a column and a book - and learn how to sew these onto the slab. And, then learn the process of segmentation.
